Occupation: Biologist
Best part about my job: Beautiful ocean sunrises
Biggest challenges I face: Trying to balance the different forces affecting sea turtles: tourism, development, fishing, volunteerism, etc.
The most unusual or exciting thing that’s happened to me while working in the field: Being accosted by customs officers who mistook me for an egg poacher while I was recording data on a nesting turtle on a beach in French Guiana.
Why I like being a member of the MTSG: It is a great opportunity to interact and discuss issues with diverse people working on turtles
Turtle researcher / conservationist I most admire: Michael Coyne (how does he have time??)
When I’m not working on turtles I like to: Download mp3s
Ten years from now, I hope I will be doing: More MTSG member profiles
