The MTSG’s North Atlantic region includes members that are working primarily or exclusively on marine turtle research and/or conservation in the eastern United States, throughout the North Atlantic (e.g. Azores, Cape Verde, Ascension), the United Kingdom, and Atlantic Europe (outside of the Mediterranean). This region also includes a number of members that reside in this region, but whose work spans multiple regions or is global in nature.
The MTSG’s North Atlantic regional membership is presently overseen by Regional Vice Chair Blair Witherington (USA).
